The ditzy broad thought she was making another, record-breaking, tie vote in the goofyass Senate. Tie-breaking in the Senate is the only job a VP has. If it weren’t for tie-breaking, a chimpanzee could do the job.

"The seven-day holiday was created in 1966 by Dr. Maulana Karenga, a professor and" Communist.

Kwanzaa is the brain child of Ron Everett, who chaired the African American Studies department of California State University, Long Beach, from 1989 to 2002. Some time before that, he spent several years in jail for assaulting and vicoiously torturing two women, changed his name to Maulana Ron Karenga, put on a dashiki, embraced marxism, and declared Kwanzaa a real holiday. He actually admitted it was all a creation by him--typical of a narcissist. It's actually a self-absorbing holiday for a self-absorbed secular elite that rejects Christianity. Marxists always rejects Christianity.

"I observed Kwanzaa in my customary way, not knowing what it was or when it was. Does that make me a bad person?"

You may be duped if you say Christians are duped. You might be short-sighted if you reject the perfect love of God for the phony religious invention of a narcissistic Marxist opportunist.

Ah, yes, Swahili. The lingua franca of East Africa, while nearly all American blacks trace their ancestry to West Africa where Swahili is not spoken.

Obama is a Kenyan-American. Therefore, he's not descended from the American slaves. So we are still waiting for our first "African-American" President.

“African-American”

I find how we use words in this country fascinating, especially words that touch upon the people now referred to as ‘black’.

Of course few are actually black, but rather a shade of brown. But the word has nothing to do with the color of the skin. Extremely dark-skinned people from India or Melanesia aren’t black, one’s ancestors had to come from Africa.

The same holds true for ‘African-American’. Elon Musk and John Kerry’s wife both come from Africa, but they aren’t ‘African-American’. Neither are American whose ancestors came from Egypt or the rest of North Africa.

And then there’s the complaint of the shortage of ‘blacks’ in baseball. It turns out that black players from the Caribbean don’t count as ‘blacks’.

‘Colored’ is racist, but ‘people of color’ is wonderful. None of it makes sense.

There’s a huge difference between an African immigrant and an “African-American”. The best way to describe it is that an African immigrant does not have any “baggage” an “African-American” has. Look at Obama. You can tell that he does not act like an “African-American”.

I agree, just saying I don’t observe Kwanzaa and don’t know anything about it, in perhaps too many words. As long as there is no explicit anti-Christian content to any celebration, I don’t oppose it.
