Thanks for that. Didn’t think of autonation. Prices seem way better then here locally. Not sure I’d want to buy a car over 1000 miles away though.
Yeah I’m wondering if you do the build online to skip any of the premium upcharges like $795 for Toyoguard which is a joke, whether the dealer would still add their upcharge to the MSRP. I just want the base price, destination charge and taxes that’s it. I don’t need their $500 floor mats or $100 wheel locks. I can buy all of that after market at a fraction of the dealer cost.
That's what I did when I bought my 2001 Frontier truck. Shopped around, the dealers around my place wanted too much. I bought one many miles away, bare bones, but with the SuperCharger engine spec. Then I sourced other options later, like a bed-liner, hitch, hitch harness, side step-rails, and tonneau cover, etc. Saved hundreds of dollars in the process. I still use the truck, and am always getting offers to sell it, but I'll keep it until it dies. Dealers want too much these days for any new truck.
