Ok to share some news. Near tearing up. Tonight our ten year old Irish Setter came in from outside and fell down. Took a long time to get back up. We suspect his hips are going if not in real trouble. He has some other health issues — ear infections we can’t get under control. Right now he is spread out on my side of the bed with hubby, so to give him space I’m in the guest room. Probably looking at decision time. I love Finnegan, but I can’t stand to see him in pain. Hubby feels the same.

Ah, jeez. Looks like an erroneous report on the crowd at the event:
“...he half-filled the school’s hockey arena with hundreds of MAGA faithful”
For context, the arena seats 6,000, so even half filled would not have been in the “hundreds”.
