The movie Winchell about the career of columnist Walter Winchell had him going upstairs at a mansion to come upon a room with the top businessmen and political leaders including the powerful mayor, with a nude young woman in a bathtub in the center.
“So I was never upstairs, never saw any of you and wouldn’t think of writing about it, is that right, gentlemen?”
The less I know about the FBI, the happier I am.
This is news? Are they kidding? Chicago area? Hell, just about every business in Cook County gets shaken down for street tax and it’s been going on for generations! Every dumpy, filthy, democrat patronage hack wet their beaks. The level of corruption is beyond comprehension. Pay to play.
I actually lived there for a time during WW2. Parents choice not mine. Have the exact address somewhere in my mess. It has become an extremely blighted shithole over the years which all of south Cook County is.
It's also why there should be full audits of public officials upon entry to office, every 2 years thereafter and upon leaving office. Probably should include immediate families, too.
