Maybe they do the hearing for entertainment purposes for their constituents, so that gop voters can watch the video clips and be entertained.
Video clips for their reelection campaigns.
After all of the abuse of FISA Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner, R-Ohio, still wants to extend it, the question is why?
Whose side is Mike Turner on?
OK, I take back two of the ten nasty things I said of Speaker Johnson of the GOPe.
They’re not going to stop terrorism anyhow.
Why should they? So what if the “little people of flyover country” are killed or injured? It’s not that Washington wants them around anyhow.
If a terrorist strike occurs then congress will give the bureaucrats even more power.

MESSAGE -— 54 Bipartisan Lawmakers Urge Speaker Johnson
Not to Slip “Deep State Surveillance Authorization” in Defense Bill
Congress should strip funding from the censorship group, NewsGuard, in the latest National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) since it received a $750,000 taxpayer-funded grant from the Department of Defense.
If a govt organization is suspected of having political bias, that’s unconstitutional.
The US government cannot support that w/ tax dollars.
And this: a very pertinent point regarding the “outsourcing of censorship.”
NDAA SECTION 1532 “That which government is
constitutionally prohibited from doing, it cannot
contract with others to do.”
Congress must make sure that Section 1532 is preserved in the final version of the NDAA.

The two subcommittees need to get together and make a bill both subcommittees can agree on.
Yep it is Gowdy Doody Time gain.
This very realization hit me hard when I watched Mitch McConnell seem wholly nonplussed about not winning back the senate. He seemed unconcerned before the election as well. He’d rather not have to take any real responsibility for the party at this point .
The sad thing is that those bustards just don’t want what we want.
Some deals were made over the weekend again.
“Of course you prefer tried and true, ageless experience
You prefer Nancy Pelosi who has been around for ever”......
Nancy Pelosi = Michael Corleone
Gope Speaker DuJour= Fredo Corleone
Same family, different results
How did it get this far? Why should I vote for scum treating us like this?
You’re kidding right. This is the 21st century...It’s a necessity. That’s how we track people...rather than old fashion spy games. It’s a big world out there. Be real.
You forgot 9-11 already. The 19th pilot...we could have talked with him....except for “the wall”.
Never trust a guy who can’t decide how to wear his hair.
You misspelled 'grifter', and you are correct.
