They ask quite often at the VA if any of us Vets own firearms and/or feel like harming ourselves or others.
I always give an emphatic ‘No!’ to those questions. ‘Cuz I’m shy. ;)
(And, yes, Lurkers. I understand a lot of Vets DO have these problems and they must be addressed. I have no problem with them asking me.)
My thoughts too - it strikes me as doing a “soft registration” by answering in the affirmative.
It is no coincidence that gun ownership is at record heights and that crime is hitting record levels, inflation is skyrocketing, racism is in full bloom, hate crimes are skyrocketing, economic inequality is increasing to previously unseen levels, ocean levels are increasing at levels never seen in the recorded history of our planet, and Zionist oppression of the Palestinian people is at its highest level ever!
(I think I hit most of the talking points. Hmmm. Looks like I may have missed something about Christian Dominionism.)
Licenses? We don’t need no steekin licenses !!!

Considering that org’s history of trying to disarm vets/citizens, I would lie like nobody’s business if I was asked that question.
