The bread is getting more expensive but the circuses are still free
Same here since 1775; had family on both sides at Gettysburg, strangely enough they both walked away from that meat grinder and went on to produce male descendants that have fought in every war since then.
All originally from the Old Dominion and now scattered out over 48 out of the 50, I think.
My son and daughter are to old to draft now but I’ve told my grand kids to stay away from recruiters and the reasons why.
Or are we talking about President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho ...
You’re a solid American.
My ancestors were Confederates from primarily VA and TN (29th VA Inf Reg and 1st TN Inf Reg) some great family stories/history here.. I’ll post sometime. I had one ggg grandfather who was Union Kansas Cavalry, no other Union direct ancestors that I know of. Great grandfather in WW1. Both grandfathers WW2 combat vets (one came back for Korea, but was not combat) Dad is Vietnam vet(enlisted due to low draft number) 3 of us from my generation GWOT
I have to amend my original statement…. No direct ancestors in the Spanish American War.
My kids are all 10 and under. They’ll never serve unless something radically changes.
You got that right. The Rock has a soft leftist brain.
