I'd rather see the IDF drop bunker busters and kill the Hamas terrorists there in the tunnels than have the IDF soldiers risk their lives by going in and rounding them up. Don't take prisoners, just destroy the tunnels and bury the rats within. Keep the IDF soldiers safe.

That is an option and would protect far more Israeli lives while not likely changing the body count of the terrorists.
So did Hamas, they miscalculated that Israel was going to charge into Gaza in a fit of rage. The rage is there. But it is controlled rage. Hamas dead beats don’t know what to do. Hence the ratcheting up of ceasefire nonsense by their western press allies and assorted professional agitators who tag along with the musloids in Western streets
