There is a huge difference between fighting to defend your country and your people, and serving as a thug for the masters in the Capitol District on their imperial adventures. If someone wants to defend America in 2023 they’d be joining a militia in Texas, not signing up with the federal armed forces.
I agree 100%, and the first few hundred thousand should be the blood relatives between the age of 17-35 of EVERY member of congress and the entire executive branch, including all agencies under it.

This country has bastardized every single thing that everyday Americans grew up with and love.
I grew up in a Marine house, and sad to say I don’t want my kids going on the service.
Not saying it’s still not the best place to live, but it’s only cause compared to other places, is still not as fry as those places. That doesn’t make it great, on its own.
This country hates me because I’m a white, middle class, conservative Christian. And this government would take my house or assess in a heartbeat for any number of ridiculous reasons.

I don't have a woke bone in my body. My comment was heavily laden with sarcasm and a bit of truth. Recruitment numbers are way down due to the very reasons you cited and therefore this tyranical administration wouldn't think twice about reinstating the Draft.
