These "Judges" along with all manner of authorities and so called constitutionalist need to study the actual Constitution!

(it would seem that SCOTUS has also forgotten this fact).

I do not see the value of canceling it, if the court case doesn’t go through, you will then be in a possession of an item that’s regulated, and you won’t have a permit filed on time and you’ll have to start over again. And they already know who you are, unless you’ve sold the gun in the interim.
