But yeah, the Powell Doctrine!
LOL'ing you back !!
CNN Official Interview: Colin Powell now regrets UN speech about WMDs
No problem, and that was a picture of Nancy Drew, Jr detective. One of her heroes.
Gee, I thought you knew how to read.
But instead you’re still ranting about some assumed position I have in support of sending F-35s to Ukraine.
Alas, I’ll repeat myself in the hopes you remove the cloud from your eyes...Anyone who proposes sending F-35s to Ukraine should be summarily shot.
And, your “data” is either way out of date, or deliberately false.
“The gross weapons system cost of an F-35A adds up to $98.2 million in FY22.
The defense department calculates the F-15EX at $110 million. But that does NOT include the cost for simulators, EPAWSS, or the targeting and IRST pods required for combat. Adding in those costs brings the gross weapons systems cost for the F-15EX to $136.7 million — $38.5 million or 39 percent more than a fully loaded F-35A.”
Be edified. This is the most thorough and knowledgeable assessment available in the world today:

Re: 61 - The Powell Doctrine works best when people act in good faith.
I though that would be... evident?
I guess not?
‘Deluded’ Zelensky blasted as closest aide
claims Ukraine is ‘not winning’ war with Russia

Ukraine is “not winning” its war against Russia, according to a close advisor of President Volodymyr Zelensky. Despite the difficult situation on the ground, Zelensky’s belief in an outright Ukrainian victory is said to be unmovable, according to a new report by Time. The close aide said:
“He deludes himself. We’re out of options. We’re not winning. But try telling him that.”
It works best when one verifies WMDs before parading blatant lies before the world.
Agreed, 100%.
And good morning to you as well.
In post 15 you said, “The F-35 was designed for this battlefield.”
Then in post 16 you said, “And it would be decisive.”
You posted insults and nonsense in post 49 that I refuted in post 52, to which you have now responded with more insults and nonsense.
The problem is not that I do not know how to read... And no, the links that I have provided are not out of date or false. The problem seems to be that you are having a difficult time articulating your thoughts in a rational, coherent, clear and civil way in this thread and also did not bother to follow the links that I provided.
As an example you now say, “Anyone who proposes sending F-35s to Ukraine should be summarily shot.” After saying, “The F-35 was designed for this battlefield.” “And it would be decisive.” This seems to be contradictory.
Combined with your insults you seem to be working hard to make a fool out of yourself on this thread. This is a shame because I know from your past posts over many years that you are a knowledgeable and intelligent individual who I have always admired greatly. There are very few subjects that we have even minor disagreements on.
I would appreciate it if you could clarify what it is that you are trying to share while leaving out the insults. This Ukrainian adventure has been botched from the very beginning starting long before the Russians were goaded into their own poorly considered actions by inept and stupid foreign policy from Nato and the Biden administration.
