Back in the ‘70’s there was a parody of this kind of insanity.
I heard this on the Dr. Demento show. A fellow was performing “Old Man River”. The censor keep beeping the singer at each potentially offensive lyric.
It became “Elderly Man River”.

The NY Audubon Society has changed its name to Bird Society=— because supposedly John J. Audubon the REASON the society even existed, having illustrated hundreds of birds in color paintings— Audubon is said to have owned slaves.
Not joking this freaking happened. Marxists in the bird society? Any part of society that they determine needs a history erasure— they will do if allowed.
They also removed America’s Songwriter Stephen Foster statue Native Son of Pittsburgh because there was a “slave” on his statue with a sickle in his hand and a bunch of cut wheat.
