Thanks.
I’d be turning in old and/or defective guns and use the money toward buying a brand new one. I’m betting that is exactly what many gun buy-back participants are doing.
Lets understand this. I steal a gun, use it in a crime and the city gives me money for it and then destroys it.

To their credit, the event organizers did not start accepting turn-ins until about 9:01 a.m.
The cards ran out about 9 a.m. At that point there were about 30 vehicles in line.
And sold 'em at the next gun show, with a State Police background check, for $350 ... I'd make a few bucks, and the buyer would get a good deal.
I'd just have to be sure not to do it too often, as I am not an FFL.
I’d have gladly handed over $500 for that Hi Power.

My error. They stopped very close to 10:00 a.m.
wasn’t addressing you, just the article...not your error unless you are Dean Weingarten...
heck of a mess ‘eh ?
How many of them sell guns they stole and immediately go out and steal another.
You can buy a new shotgun or rifle for less than $200.
