Well when the godfather of your party is Bush ..., but it isn't just the Texas GOP. It's the GOP, the soft, weak, corrupt, do nothing, lazy, spineless, traitorous, self-serving sell-outs.

Why? The common characteristic of these RINOs is their laziness. The literally got liquored up and had a grand 'ol party and gave it to the Senate to have their own piss-up. Rules- we don't need to stinkin' rules. Somehow sanity prevailed. I suspect that the Senate got more than an earful from the same constituents who voted for Paxton and thought that suing Biden and the feds over and over again, and having the damned audacity to win a lot of the time was just dandy and nothing to be embarassed about. But GOPeers are a handwringing lot and wringing their hands has been what they have been doing a lot of.
Course, everyone thought business as usual would prevail, add another $6T to the debt, wash it through Ukraine, get some for hardworking Hunter, let the big guy get his cut, all the wheels were greased, and everything should have gone smooth as silk except for the POd voters who were astonished that their gas meters and grocery bills kept lying to them when Biden promised them that that wouldn't happen.
In my experience, Texans are the worst expatriates. We all used to trash the Californians, but over these past couple years, i’d choose Californians over Texans.

Thank you for that link. The information about the actions of the Legislature made me furious. It was the same kangaroo trial that the J-6th House hearings held with, Bushite, Liz Cheney as Vice Chair. They used all the tricks in the books. We can guess who was running it behind the curtains. The DemonKKKrats want to undermine the GOP majority for the 2024 elections.
