What seems to be missing in these breathless stories is that the satellites were not online and he could not have turned them on or off at the time.

So, the point was moot.

And yet the Russians are practically frothing at the mouth over this.

And Russia has the abilities to turn Ukraine into a sheet of glass at the press of a button. So what’s your point?

Your LOLs stink of desperation and fear.

This is the media today. Half a story without important details.

Starlink is now Starshield when used by the military.

https://www.space.com/spacex-starshield-satellite-internet-military-starlink

The Starshield system is compatible with Starlink so data transfer between them will be available. Nothing says they cannot allocate starlink bandwidth to starshield terminals which is exactly what they’ve been doing.

I believe DOD bought 13000 terminals which they manage.

A friendly reminder when the amount of money we send to ukraine eventually causes hyperinflation, the police will not be around to protect the ukraine supporters

The U.S. has not declared war on either side, so legally Musk can sever all services to either side and not be guilty of treason.

Exactly. The Isaacson book and quote was taken completely out of context by MSM. Musk originally provided starlink to restore civilian service. Starlink was never active in that region. He has no obligation to provide starlink free to the military or even if they want to pay for it. Russia could start taking out starlink satellites.

Ukrainian's taking out the Russian Navy.

The ghost of Kyiv leaves his mark on a Russian ship...

Hey, Ivan what was that?

I don't know. I think a plane ran into us.

you’re just pissed that Russia has been exposed

this war has shown that Russia is pretty useless militarily - yes, they have nukes and artillery - but that’s about it ...

Russia has been shown to be a washed-up former superpower, only mid-level now ... cripes, Poland could probably defeat Russia’s conventional forces FFS

enjoy the coming drone attacks deep inside Russia

I just want Ukraine to burn.
I just want the USA to stop meddling in and roiling affairs all around the world, for fun and profit.

And mucking things up to the point of wars.

“Poland could probably defeat Russia’s conventional forces FFS”

Good, you just shot the “it’s 1939 and Putin is Hitler” claim in the head. Looks like Ukraine doesn’t need much more help from us.
