I missed an article in early June to the effect that Chief Judge Mark E. Walker, an Obama appointee with Leftist tendencies, disqualified himself in the case due to a relative owning some Disney stock. His replacement is US District Judge Allen Winsor, a Trump appointee. That would be another reason for Disney to simplify its federal case.
