Unfortunately she has been criticized, although in fact Israel‘s government seems to be the only one in the West to protect its people from this invasion from Africa. Three cheers for them!
Anyway, the principle of so- called non-refoulement (q.v.) enshrined in UN principles, seems to have long overstayed its welcome, now that WW 2 and the Cold War are over. Or so I would say…

1. Actually, very few people, who support open borders are hypocrites. Many are Jewish or have Jewish ancestors, but have no love of Israel. Some are anti-Israel activists. Do the research yourself before posting a refutation.
2. 30% of Israel is non-Jewish. The Jewish population is quite diverse. Israel is an incredibly diverse country. The societal stresses of this is a major factor in the months of protests, putatively over Judicial Reform.
3. Grievance blinds people
