520 days of Putin’s invasion have made the Ukrainians determined to keep fighting

For the sake of the Ukranians one would hope not.

If they insist, they'l be conducting operations with the army of the dead, since there won't be anyone alive left to fight.

“Britain and france instead armed Czechoslovakia to defend itself against Germany.”

Czechoslovakia armed itself. They had a well-equipped army and strong fortifications on the border. Read what Churchill said about them. The Czechs gave up when B & F refused to help. They didn’t want to go down fighting like Poland or Yugoslavia.

You are merely hoping Russia will quit. NATO can only send weapons to a country that will not be able to exist without us throwing piles of money at it. NATO cannot win. But they can annoy the hell out of Russia, and hope that they give up. I don’t think they will. They have to fight. They have no other choice. To lose is not only to lose but to show all around them that they lost. And that is far to dangerous, with China right on their borders. So they will continue to take their portion of Ukraine. Ukraine on the other hand is no longer a people or a country. Males cannot live there, so no family’s or children. Eighteen more years and there will be no country. Europe will have to build itself with a massive energy tax. Good luck.

My post in #100 is telling you that your post in #67 is incorrect as there is no parallel to the USA after Pearl Harbor.

The USA had a massive industrial complex and was able to ramp up quickly. It developed newer military systems and processes to pump out more and faster.

Russia since 2022 has had the opposite - they recently even withdrew the few “advanced” tanks they had. They have not been able to ramp up production, leave alone put new weapons or systems.

“Russia is rebuilding stock piles” — err.. nope it isn’t and that is evident in its continuous retreats.

“Russia is gaining new troops” - again, nope —>the failed mobilizations are proof of this

“Russia has missiles and drones owning the skies” - again, nope —> Russia fears to send its planes over Ukraine and can’t even control the skies over its own airfields.

“Their trains and rivers are at the mercy of the Russians” — nope - they have been exporting grain through rail to central europe and onwards. The Ukrainian railways are functioning well and Russia has given up even targeting them.

Regarding your new point - neither could many countries fight against Napoleon if not financially supported by London, nor could the UK in many ways fights without financial support from the USA.

Neither could the USSR have fought their allies, Nazi Germany, without American industrial might.

NATO isn’t fighting here - so there is no question of NATO winning or losing.

However, Russia and Ukraine are both fighting and both punch-drunk and tired.

China has already seen that the Russian bear is a marmoset and is happy for Putin to keep tossing Russian men to die.

“Eighteen more years and there will be no country. Europe will have to build itself with a massive energy tax.”

The war isn’t going to last 18 more years.

And many Ukrainians have headed back to Ukraine - mostly the western part of Ukraine.

They will last 18+ years

Europe already has shifted heavily from Russian hydrocarbons. Fracking is happening in Poland and many countries are re-looking at nuclear power plants,

you are repeating wishful Russian thinking.

When a thug invades your home over and over again and this time says he is taking it over completely, you either fight or you are eliminated completely.

Napoleon’s failed “invasion” was more Napoleon looking to teach Tsar Alexander a lesson and scare him away from an alliance with the UK, breaking the “continental system” i.e. the embargo against British goods.

There was no goal of Bonaparte to conquer Russia

You and Bonie close friends. What lunacy revisionist drivel. The goal was to take Russia. Bonie got out in his carriage, much of the Grand Armee froze to death. Truly your chronometer is seriously screwed up.

None can see who fail to look and even perceive for the sake of their propaganda and payoffs. Others like to invest in the truth and realpolitik. Further so it goes. The Children’s Crusade.

Evidently you live in a fantasy world of your own imagination and don’t care about needing proof for anything, you even lied in post 119 to protect your fantasy tale.
