What’s your problem? Another poster demeaned Ukrainians fighting for their country, and I said such patriotism as shown by those Ukrainians was something he would not understand. Which is true: Making fun of people who are willing to give their all for their country says a great deal about that poster and his — or her — attitude.

More like 6 - 8 months for a trained pilot (i.e., someone who has completed flight training and has some flight hours under his or her belt) to qualify on the F-16. For someone with no flight experience at all two years would not be out of line.
I remember hearing that from a visiting colonel. When he left the room our won commander stood up and just looked at his back with a scowl on his face- “Huh? that so?”

Great. Now the Russians will have a chance to learn and practice how to defeat the F-16, just like all the rest of the west’s arsenal. Ukraine has been the Russian sandbox for military R&D.

According to former Russian president and Prime Minister, and current deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Russia will use nukes for far less than that. But, of course, he is known for bluster and bravado, as are most Russian politicians, as well as Russian government spokespersons in the media.
