"[Dear Old Mom] noted that in the months before his dash across the border to North Korea, he had become significantly less communicative than in his early days in the Army. Family members have previously said that he may have felt overwhelmed as he faced legal troubles and his possible looming discharge from the military.
King was supposed to be returned to the U.S. to face military discipline after serving nearly two months in a South Korea prison on assault charges. But instead of boarding a flight for Texas, as planned, King slipped away and quietly joined a civilian tour group headed for the Demilitarized Zone, which divides South and North Korea."
Low IQ violent black male does low IQ violent black male things.
I’m shocked, but at least he wasn’t a straight white male.
Diversity is our strength…
He decided that North Korea was better than Leavenworth. I very probably would have decided differently.
This boy never would have made it in the real Army. He’s a crybaby who wants to be pampered and his diaper changed.
Buuh, his momma say... he’s Ok! They sure aren’t serving him home fare. This guy was under US Army discipline, and escaped for his stupid mentality of street gang crap. We should do nothing for him— we do not owe him. He violated military order. The norks will milk this-— in the 1920’s olde Communist playbook about the po- black folks. Utter BS. Lloyd Austin is SecDef, and the incoming chair of the joint chiefs is a biddable dude to him. Get’s what get under these conditions. Asians do not like.
I feel sorry for his Mom, but this guy seems to have gotten what was coming to him. He is now being made to face the consequences of his featherbrained, impulsive decisions.
Maybe this is rock bottom. Maybe he’ll wake up and straighten out, assuming they let him out.
If Da Man wasn’t oppressing him and holding him down, he would not have had to leave. It is Da Man that always keeps the Po Black Man down.
In North Korea a nice fat American might be welcome at a feast as the main course.
Mom no doubt continually filled his head with imaginary reasons to hate the USA.
‘You chose poorly, Grasshopper!’
What a dumb@ss.
When I was in Army Basic Training (1979) there was this black chick who kept riding me. For weeks. She was HUGE and I was a 99-pound weakling at the time. ;) Also, being small, I had been picked on all of my life. I knew the drill.
I finally told her, ‘Fine. You want to fight me? I’ll fight you. But I. Fight. Dirty. So, prepare to lose a few handfuls of hair, maybe lose an eye that I gouge out with my thumbs, enjoy your disfigured FACE once I grab a rock or break off a pop bottle. Oh, and you’ll probably come away with one less ear.’
She backed off, LOL! And funny, I don’t remember her graduating with our class, either.
*SMIRK* Dumb@ss.
If you willingly enter North Korea, or a similar country, everything that happens after that is your own fault. Expect no sympathy from me.
You know better than that. How many do you read about that are arrested for robbery, rape, murder? Then read further in the story and the words , "he was released from prison last week. month" appear. He well on his way to a life of crime.
He’s going to learn a very different lesson now.
If he comes home in a box.
Most times, going “ape” on a bully works since they’re not used to it.
I had a similar thing on Parris Island in 1989. A "Dark Green" whose name happened to be Black decided I was going to be his bully target. Biggest guy in the platoon.
He didn't graduate with us because he couldn't pass Swim Qual.
He chose poorly, mom.
but none left to stay, that’s why it left...
His momma is correct. And she should go join him. He is in a place where the "White Man" doesn't have a boot or knee on his neck anymore.
I wonder if he thought of that plan himself, or if someone whispered in his ear.
