I lived there in the ‘80s. On Rio Vista Rd just two blocks up from the Grove. In the morning I would take my coffee and go down to the Russian River to drink it. The beach was the ‘official’ lesbian beach, crowds of naked lesbians in the summer. Interesting times.

No.. the Russian River had the special problem of uncovered sewage ponds in Santa Rosa constantly spilling over. I had to buy drinking water the entire time I lived on the river. The town of Guerneville nobody drinks the tap-water. Every month the water company (which was a local joke) was required to send you a notice not to drink it. I don’t know if the problem ever was resolved.. I moved away in ‘85.

Let’s just say I spent a lot of time on the beach. They would play beach ball in the river surf.. all naked running around... and yes.. many beautiful. Normally they didn’t like guys gawking about but they knew me, that I lived there. My wife was there to keep me honest.
