We wouldn’t need blackouts if we’d stop trying to load every freeloader on the planet into the United States. Those idiots use our electricity, our gas, they eat our food and use our healthcare and schools. Not too smart, America. Only idiots would bring in fake refugees and pay for them and their families to live here.

Maybe Gov. Hair Gel should rename L.A. to Johannesburg. They already share high crime, low employment, and soon scheduled daily blackouts.

I would suggest anyone who thinks this is a good idea should have a switch installed at their meter and when it is looking like the need is there and a blackout is possible, shut them down completely. Wonder how many of these high minded liberals would agree to that?

Doesn’t matter. Irrelevant. As green power sources come online, conventional sources will be less used.

Conventional sources will always be available to pick up where the green sources leave off.

The greenies should be happy. The conventional sources will be used less and less.

Yuck yuck. Fossil fuels will be in wide use forever.

Sounds 3rd world thinking to me. These idiots voted Democrat for decades, and are about to reap the benefits. How convenient portable generators have been banned now the juice is unreliable.

The LA Times should shut off power to all of their operations now—and employees should be banned from using any technology that uses power.

It is time for them to walk the climate change walk.

We need to save the planet now!

“Occasional blackouts” are a feature of the third world. Coming soon to the U.S. It is also ironic that this is the same L.A. Times that advocated requiring air conditioning in all rental units to offset the inequity of being cool on hot days.

Why do idiots keep harping about “climate change” as if they could do so something about it even if it existed. We can override the effects of climate (which occurs naturally) if we have adequate supplies of energy, which people know is possible with so-called “fossil fuels” which we have in abundance. Trying to accomplish it without oil & gas is just stupid at this point. The solar arrays & wind turbines are not consistent enough to accomplish it alone; thus are not dependable when counted upon. The results are blackouts & suffering. This is particularly important in colder areas in winter time when you MUST have heat. Better for forget about what Biden is pushing & just go forward with something that works.
