Why hasn't it been a big story that a big city like L.A. has had record cool temperatures in 2023?

Doesn’t fit the narrative.

End of story.

Nobody wants to hear your crap! Stop posting disgusting information that goes against our beautiful people orientated agenda!

Now I’m going to plug my ears and stomp my feet and yell that I can’t hear you, and go eat my bugs. Don’t ruin this for me.

heh.

Because everybody knows the weather changes all the time?

Seattle had record cool average temps in Feb, Mar, Apr, and drought level rain fall.

Probably related to a huge area of colder than normal ocean water from Vancouver Island down to Baja California.

The main volume of cold water has moved south in the last two months and is now concentrated off California and northern Mexico.

Interesting graph. It’s produced by the green weenies as part of the ‘hockey stick’. It’s even more interesting if you look back sooner than 1979 to see much warmer temperatures going back decades.

If you look at the Earth temperature data between 1940 and 1980 you’ll see that the temp dropped significantly and didn’t recover until 1980.

I don’t know if WW2 ended up throwing more dust into the atmosphere and thus causing more clouds to be formed and volcanic eruptions occurring during that time, too.

The Little Ice Age lasted from 1300 to 1850. Then you had that warming from that time forward. It was so cold during that time the Thames River froze over and they had frost fairs on it.

Facts don't matter to leftists

They don't matter much to anyone anymore, unless you are quoting the point spread for Sunday's football matches.

Why do they ignore the fact that my car temperature sensor always records a 1-3 temperature rise every time I come back to the metro area where I live after being out in the country?
Yes heat islands are real and they likely explain any temperature rise being measured .
In short, it’s the concrete, asphalt roads and roofs.
NOT the SUVs.
