“Who said it was spread over a six hundred mile front?”

Ukraine’s assistant defense minister.

Former CIA Analyst: US ‘preparing to throw Zelensky under a bus’

The US wants to get rid of Zelensky because he failed all the plans and hopes of the West to win. Former CIA analyst Raymond McGovern is sure that at the first opportunity, the States are “preparing to throw him under a bus.”

The fate of Zelensky is already a foregone conclusion and it is unenviable, the former CIA officer believes.

When you have a huge PR machine on the loose in Ukraine, unbridled and unquestioned in the West; when in the West folks talk about Russian propaganda about anything derogatory regards the war, even though we “censor” the Russian side, things get distorted.

This is a war the US and EU agreed on.

Where big business and the financial institutions supported the move which ultimately caused it, NATO East expansion.

Where the MSM which follows the big corporations, oligarchs and politicians all agree.

Where the opposition party refuses to use this issue in opposition politics.

Who represents the other side?

You see, on most issues, there are two sides, opposing interests that battle it out in the sphere of public opinion and politics. However, today in the era of big media conglomerates which are all party aligned, big tech which is party aligned, where you have government collusion with big tech and the media conglomerates as well as censorship by all of them, you find yourself in a situations where you get an almost entirely one sided narrative, another example: Covid.

In such a world, we rationalize the Nazi issue in Ukraine, mercenaries which we wanted to ban internationally until recent are OK now, we don’t want to ask about our influence in Ukraine and if they are really all so sovereign, who was behind Mr Z and his rise to power, nor do we want to ask if Ukraine which banns opposition parties and throws folks in prison for their political views is really all so democratic. We don’t really want to discuss how our leaving the Ballistic Missile Treaty might have had an impact on this, our breaking of the Minsk agreement, nor NATO East expansion and the promises we made there. What you won’t find is our media asking sincerely and realistically, what our national security interest is in Ukraine?

Nope, the war is covered with stories about a Ghost of Kiev, fighting until the last man on Snake Island, the next victorious counter offensive (there’s one every other month), and 9 year old girls with blue and yellow ribbon in her hair, sucking a lollipop and holding a shotgun: https://en.as.com/en/2022/03/12/latest_news/1647049220_819544.html

Not until it is glaringly and undeniably apparent, where when you speak about certain victory and a higher moral cause and everyone begins to laugh, in your face, will the narrative in the media and by our political figures change.

They will not lead the public opinion in this case, rather follow since the media and politicians are ultimately under the thumb of the corporations and oligarchs, and they wanted this.

Until then, not enough folks have died, not enough of our money wasted, for an idiotic war caused by “our” politicians and the economic interests behind this.

It’s also linguistic. Not only do these areas vote for the pro-Russian candidate, they also speak Russian as their mother tongue.

Many of these areas historically were Russian depending on the time era we’re talking about.

Then there is the issue of the Russians having built/developed the industrial area in the Donbas in the Soviet era.

If we are going to tear Ukraine entirely under our control and purge all Russian influence, then Russia is logically going to carve out what they see as having a right over. Duh-

Eventually, all these geniuses that thought war is some great solution (in this case) will figure out that, Ukraine is smaller, weaker, less stable, has lots of dead, millions of refugees, is not in NATO, not in the EU, lost a major industrial area and port city, has a severely damaged infrastructure and economy with high inflation that at this point is 1/2 of what it was before the war. Between the US and EU we are floating Ukraine economically. They would not even be able to pay their civil servants anymore were it not for our money. All that while we are pretending it to be a VICTORY! Hahahaha

Zelensky praises troops for limited gains in counteroffensive battles

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky praised his troops for waging tough counteroffensive battles in several regions during what he described in his nightly address as a “very important week.” Ukrainian forces continued to make limited gains in at least four sectors, the Institute for the Study of War think tank said in an analysis.
