We keep hearing from Biden and all those in Washington who say, defeating Russia is the goal and drive them out of Ukraine.
If that is really true, the war has been managed in the most inept manner possible.
If you are going to fight Russia, who has an army, air force, navy, etc., it may not be the greatest in the world, but it still exists compared to Ukraine which basically has nothing without what NATO has given them.
Nearly every advanced weapons system given to Ukraine was initially denied by the Biden Administration only to change course later, HIMARS, Patriot Air Defenses, M1 Abrams Tanks, F-16 fighter jets, etc.
If you really were trying to defeat Russia, you would have rushed those systems and trainers to Ukraine before Russia invaded instead of doling them out at a snail’s pace.
Meanwhile any talk of a negotiated settlement is immediately rejected, it’s gotten so bad, a group of African countries are now trying to negotiate a settlement.
The Neocons want to bleed Russia and if every Ukrainian Male has to die to complete the job, so be it.
Without air cover, it’s tough to move very far, very fast.
It has to fail so they can ask for more money.
The Taliban humiliated them two summers ago.
We’ll never know the real truth about this war.
>>The leaders at Vilnius should ask themselves a question: if Ukraine with the might of the Atlantic alliance at its back cannot prevail against Russian aggression, then what is the point of Nato?
Indeed, what is the point of NATO?
If Russia cannot succeed in its offensive in Ukraine, it has much less chance against Poland and other EU states. It appears that offensive warfare is less effective than defensive warfare given current state-of-the art weapons systems. There is no possibility of some equivalent to a USSR Red Army thrust through the Fulda Gap to the Rhine.
Eventually Ukraine will run out of warm male bodies to throw at Russia.
What will Zelensky do then? Transport his pallets of American Cash and
Himself out of Ukraine. Or will Ukraine people string him up like Italians
strung up Benito Mussolini in WW2.
You make a good point. Vietnam would be another example of a military with superior resources (U.S.) being defeated.
In the case of the Soviet Union in Afghanistan and the U.S. in Vietnam, hindsight might say failed political support and/or failed military strategy lost those wars. Regardless, you've reminded us that Goliath can be taken down.
Well, the Ukraine is showing that getting rid of tanks might not be that bad of an idea.
Artillery, on the other hand, is certainly proving its worth.
LMAO.
biden too
Humiliation has never bothered them before. A few more billions will turn this thing right around.
Your assuming they care about wining, not at all, the key is to keep the money flowing so the swamp keeps getting their cut.
"Cause I know that's the *popular* version of what went on there......"
Nobody has the stomach to fight a guerrilla war in our DOD or American public.
There is no honor in it. It is a “butcher’s” war. Pinochet, Brits in Singapore and mongols were the best at dealing with guerrilla warriors.
We don’t have the stomach or backbone for it. I’m pretty sure I’d decline unless a relative was butchered.
Yup. Tanks are drone magnets unless you have an active drone suppression system and lucky weather.
Artillery is always the master of a conventional battlefield. Usually the leading cause of death.

++1!
The Londonstan state run newspaper is giving the peasants a new political position
Realistically, Ukraine isn’t going to eject several hundred thousand soldiers from the biggest country in the world from Ukrainian lands with a few dozens NATO tanks and AFV.
Everybody knows that but it is hilarious to watch Democrats and the Kremlin’s bootlickers gaslight otherwise.
Russia has failed to achieve its goals and can only destroy Ukraine in the historical Russian Nazi themed manner.
