Good price
That’s true.
“Included in the scene is a parody television advertisement for New Testament cigarettes with a Catholic priest (Dan Frazer) promoting the fictitious brand while performing the sacrament of the Eucharist. The movie received a C (condemned) classification from the National Catholic Office for Motion Pictures because of the spoof.” (Wikipedia)
I didn’t even remember the scene of Woody on a cross being carried while monks on the other lane of the intersection want the right of way for traffic.
Just like taxes on cigarettes and alcohol, politicians increase taxes on legal marijuana in order to facilitate the illegal marijuana trade and they're paid off in return.
He didn’t get punished.
It can't because of the porous Southern border bringing in cheaper pot from Mexico, could it?
It’s almost like weed is a weed that people can grow themselves.
Thanks..Didn’t even think of that
The idiots running the state of California don’t know about the Laffer Curve where if you raise the tax too high on something it destroys the legal market.
If these fools drop the taxes the. they would see revenue rise, but that’s not progressive enough I suppose.
But I doubt that many people do.
Okay. Let’s stay FRiends.
Good, I hope they fail. They should have 100% tax for drug treatment programs.
First, of all, if it is legal, there should be no taxes. Why do we want our government to be a cartel?
Dang when I was in HS...a lid was $15 bucks.
Well, I remember years ago, the liberals used to laugh at the Laffer curve. The entire concept is beyond their comprehension.
It’s not the black market. Millions are simply growing their own and saying eff the government taxes. This is not complex.
“When you defund the police, there’s no one around to investigate and find the home grown patches that people use rather than buy it.”
Nobody grows it outside unless they have a bunch of land where it’s easily hidden. People grow it in their closets under grow lights. Notice all those hydroponics stores that have sprung up over the last decade.
My parents bought a brand new home for 15k, on one single income.
What were left with 60 years later is a meat grinder.
Btw, I agree with you.
Wow - weed consumption must be really down.
