The goal for legal marijuana was increase the production, distribution, and sale of illegal marijuana.

Just like taxes on cigarettes and alcohol, politicians increase taxes on legal marijuana in order to facilitate the illegal marijuana trade and they're paid off in return.

The idiots running the state of California don’t know about the Laffer Curve where if you raise the tax too high on something it destroys the legal market.

If these fools drop the taxes the. they would see revenue rise, but that’s not progressive enough I suppose.
