Clearly the mental health issues have not been resolved.
I have no doubt that she had difficult mental issues when she was a child, of that they continued after she decided she was a lesbian, or after she decided she was a math.
I don’t in any way want to downplay the pain and anguish that the trans are suffering. This is very real.
The problem is that transitioning to a different gender doesn’t help. They transition from being deeply troubled members of their own gender to deeply troubled fake members of the other. They may not be “real” women or men, but the pain they felt before was real, and the pain they continue to feel after is real.
I reserve my opprobrium for the advocates who are pushing this lie. Who convince them that transitioning is a solution. It isn’t, and it’s not even a part of a solution.
