CUNY has NOT BECOME the home of hate, it has been that way for almost 100 years. Even in the 1930’s, when it was CCNY, it was the epicenter of communism and anti-Americanism in the U.S.
I remember working for Court Street lawyers who were alumni, and getting to use the law library there after hours for work on their cases. Head librarian was a nasty piece of work, kept reminding me that I wasn’t a law student, just a lowly paralegal (with a young family to support) who best not get uppity, as if his sh!t didn’t stink. I had wanted to become a lawyer back then, but getting to know lawyers up close turned me off to the idea. And he wasn’t even a lawyer then, just a lowly student with a night job, who had found himself someone lower on the totem pole to pick on.
No, that was Columbia. This was a nearby satellite.

Well, to be fair, that was a bit part for a new actor who was playing a member of an angry mob. He was supposedly an illiterate peasant with a torch and a pitchfork. Torch-and-pitchfork-angry-mob-scene extras aren’t supposed to express deep thoughts. All he saw was the lawyers, so he was after the lawyers, not their professors. But I get you.

Now a group of CUNY students needs to sue her for giving a hateful speech that made them uncomfortable and fearful. It’s what the left does daily and when this POS is a lawyer, it’s the same terminology she’ll use to go after conservatives/traditionalists.
I suspect the majority of students agree with her.
