The charging stations will be at the top of the list for groups of “Amsish” yutes. Roll in in a stolen van, dash out with bolt chops, cut off all of the copper charging cables and be gone in less than 30 seconds. No different than the smash and grad shit that goes on every day in Democrat run cities all over the country. Guaranteed to happen.

"According to Chargehub Utica has 12 public chargers within a 15km radius."

They can keep them, I'm not driving 30 minutes to charge a shit EV.

Apartment chargers will be pay per charge - say $10, paid upfront.

Park at 6pm 15 hours later a flag will go up. To avoid a $50 ticket, your car had better be gone.

Street and apartment parking lot chargers will be like parking meters with electric cables.

Remember the gas lines during Carter? I have visions of people sitting in their cars, in line, waiting to charge their cars, while groups of "yutes", descend on them to be robbed, accosted, etc. The crap they pull looting stores in droves, will be the same thing that will happen at charging stations. And the cops will do nothing about it.

Sorry, I’d rather not live in Nazi Germany. At 75, I’ll keep my gas-fueled car until they pry it from my dead, cold hands.

Went back packing through Europe in the mid 80’s visiting family in Germany and communist countries.

One of my German cousins said they were totally lied too and the best day of the war was when he was captured by the Americans.

We treated him better than Hitler did.

Seeing how my family who were communist citizens lived was really tough.

Was walking around Zagreb with a cousin (who was the VP of a bank and his wife was a teacher, had a smaller apartment that I had as a student!)and I mentioned “You have alot of police. At least you can feel safe.” A few blocks later, no police, he said “They are they to listen.”

I pray we are not going down those paths.

They’ll simply close the local gas stations.

By 2035 ordinary people probably won’t be able to buy gasoline in LA or SF.

Thanks for your insight and personal experience. The FBI and alphabet agencies are the police you saw in Zagreb. People who have never seen, or been a victim of those times, or don’t know history, have no idea what is being done by this government is a direct threat to their personal rights, privacy, etc. I had hoped I’d be dead before this country was turned into a third-world commie $hithole, but I’m afraid I may got be gone by then. It’s coming on faster every day.

I'll be dead long before that happens. Making sure I'm cremated so they can't dig me up and burn my body for fuel to run those charging stations.

Electric cars are not even remotely viable if they can’t offload most of the real cost into the taxpayers.

Upgrading the electrical infrastructure will be VERY expensive.

It’s about breaking it, so personal transportation won’t be feasible anymore.
