I despise politicians who hang on to power until they die in office. Repeal the4 17th Amendment and let the state legislatures decide who should be their senators and impose an 8 year term limit on representatives.
Every single person that has come into contact with her over the past week agrees she is incapable of fulfilling her duties. I am somewhat relieved that people are standing up against this obvious elder abuse situation.

..........not that it matters since America has so many other existential problems but Feinstein, Mitchell, Grassley, Fetterman and others I can’t recall are billboard sized examples of WHY holding public office cries out for some basic/simple rules regarding a legislative office holders health. Here are just 3:
1. If you miss more than 10 days per year at work, your terminated AUTOMATICALLY.
2. Your job terminates AUTOMATICALLY on your 75th birthday.
3. You must pass an annual neurological test over 65.

If I had been a Senator and present when Feinstein returned to the Senate, I would not have stood up and I would not have applauded her.
She needs to resign along side Fetterman and Mitchell.
I know Newsom will appoint a marxist but that’s not the point. The point is that too often Senators serve far too long.

I don’t think she has the presence of mind to even submit her resignation. And no one in that hive of scum and villainy will insist on it. They’ll let her stay and vote Dem till she dies.
