“Question for you Brent? If this is all true then explain why Reagan blew him out the water in 1980??”

Because being a good man has nothing to do with policy.

Carter was always a woke Christian, the liberal holier-than-thou politician that rejects Christianity and embraces the left’s mirror religion of being gentle and nice and tolerant while promoting Sodom and Gomorrah anti-Christian politics.

Christians embraced the man who lived and led as a Christian, Ronald Reagan.

Carter insisted that all the services be used in the raid and that is what ruined it, the helicopter pilots were not suited for the mission.

At least he hated Ted Kennedy, so he couldn’t be all bad.

In private Carter cursed like a sailor.

His appointees were a bunch of good old boy hacks.

His administration was a full blown disaster—there was a reason he was crushed when he tried to get re-elected.

The article is worse than that—opening with great man and a great president.

I believe good man and ok president is still too close to the optitive than is actually merited—

Decent man and a better president than some of his successors I would be willing to argue for. At worst, two foul balls, and then we could debate patriot.

He was an ineffectual Commander-in-Chiet!
Remember the Iranian embassy disaster?

Military pilots could barely fly enough hours to satisfy competency requirements.

Jimmy Carter was human he made mistakes I think we can all learn something from that.

Morality wise Carter was an ocean away from the Clinton’s and Biden’s IMHO.

Policy wise I see good in promoting peace between Israel and Egypt (Camp David) but beyond that finding good policy gets tougher to impossible.

God Bless Jimmy Carter I can say that.

All those paragraphs in Playboy about thinking you’re better than others because you didn’t act out sexually with other people when you imagine yourself acting out sexually with them in your heart.

Good reading a moral legacy for us all.

The rep as a good man is a carefully created pr operation. He was a nasty, vengeful antisemite.

Former President James Earl Carter (D) was a great president and is a great man.

Worst President of the 20th century. Absolutely horrible idiotic president. Wasn't beaten in the contest of stupidity until Barack Obama came along, and now Biden has blown him out of the water for stupidest president ever.

Carter was horrible, and only someone who hadn't lived under his idiotic policies could think Carter was any good.

There’s some question about how much of a nuclear engineer Carter really was. If I remember correctly he took a course in nuclear engineering, but didn’t serve on a nuclear sub. The navy may not even have had any when he resigned his commission.

The accolades begin, it won’t be long now.
Just when needed too.

And the press would have much preferred Kennedy over Carter.

The press was more critical of Carter than of any Democrat president since, but I don't know how much they loved Teddy. He clearly didn't have the appeal his brothers did. Reporters may have wanted to like him but he didn't make it easy for them.

Forgotten now, John Anderson, a liberal Republican ran a third party campaign against Reagan and Carter and got enough votes to give Massachusetts and Connecticut (and possibly other states) to Reagan.
