Maybe, maybe not. We have only limited faculties to grasp the spiritual world or God’s earthly intentions. I tend to disagree with my wife on this bit. I come back at her with the example of Auschwitz, for instance. I am Catholic and I am a believer in the reality of Christ and what he did, and what he promises. But I just don’t buy into the apocalyptical stuff. We have free will. If we choose to destroy something, we’ll destroy it. Maybe God just looks on and thinks, “You made your bed, so. . . “
I'm going to tweak that a bit. Here goes: America is destined to be enslaved due to its disregard for the traditional Judeo-Christian God and its increasing belief in New Age garbage that says "we are all god."

The other excuse was these bad choices were the only choices he could get through the Senate. That excuse doesn’t hold water as there were some ideologically good choices. Those good choices would have been blocked if the Rino’s were going to reject ideologically pure candidates. Additionally Trump campaigned on he had the negotiating skills to not let a good candidate die in confirmation. Finally, never once did Trump say going in or when someone was fired getting someone through the Senate was the reason the fired cabinet member or appointee was originally chosen. For that reason, I see the Senate excuse as a red herring.
If you step back and look at it, without allowing your first response be defensive you’ll see things differently.
