The shutdown of schools during the pandemic was fueled by the teachers unions wanting more paid time off bolstered by some state governors who wanted total almost dictatorial control. The media also whipped up panic driven by the disingenuous “recommendations “ from Dr. Fauci. While it was known early on that children were not at risk, the teachers unions kept on the pressure to keep schools closed and worked directly with the White House to that end.

One unintended consequence of closing schools was that parents monitoring their kids distance learning became aware of the political indoctrination being given in the schools. This sparked the backlash against CRT and other radical ideas like transgenderism being promoted in the schools. Sadly the kids are the losers falling even further behind in their education and now experiencing a host of mental conditions as a result of a year or more of needless social isolation.

“We wer voting smart”
On the contrary. Vote fraud and non-fraud get out the vote examples.

In Ga Democrat primary the losers accused the Democrat establishment of exactly the same vote fraud they were accused of in Nov. If the Republicans had been smart, they would have investigated and supported those prinary charges and made them exposed and inoperable in Nov, But both Trump supporters and non-Trump suppoorters did nothing.

Thousands of new voters have fled failed jobless Blue states for Republica policy created jobs in GA. They are ripe for conversion. But both the Trump and non-Trump Republicans go out of their way to make them feel unwelcome.

It seems to me Georgia elections are as honest as those of Illinois.

From 1964 - 2013 I was intensely involved in finding vote frau in IL. I came to GA in 2013 as a consultant on the New Voter Registration software by the CIO. I confirmed what the CIO already knew. The office went thru a revolving door of CIO, who told the truth. See my posts back then.

I am not an expert onf GA elections. I have opinions about the voter registration software (now being replaced).

I flagged real POTENTIAL fraud before the 2020 election. Other than Freedom Poster and LaZ I haven’t met anyone willing to listen to reality.

The reality is that GA elections no way rise to the level of fraud in IL elections. That is not to say things are perfect.

My experience in IL is that the best way to handle fraud is to prevent it by leaving the stands as a whining spectator and get involved before election day on the ground,

So far, most Trump supporters are noisy spectators.

I meant voting smart, not voting dishonestly.

There is no question of the Uniparty being “smart” in terms of undermining itself, too.

Transplants from blue states will make up excuses to feel “unwelcome” if their true intent is to vote blue anyway. But their effect was not felt in 2020, hence the steal.

It seems to me Fulton County = Cook County. Cook County rules Illinois.

I think you’ve confused the 23rd Psalm with...

I’ll give an example here.
I made positive comments about Strong, vocal Trump backer and former Democrat Vernon Jones here on FR....and he is a Georgian born and bred.

Multiple FReepers attacked both Vernon Jones and me because he is a former Democrat.

I have a co-worker from NY. Democrats will accept that she thinks Republicans have good ideas. But Republicans won’t accept that she could be a Republican.

I ee it with people I do not know as wel (not that I known Vernon Jones we).

I didn’t confuse them. I was clearly referring to the Lord’s Prayer when I mentioned the ending. Psalms 23 doesn’t have two different possible endings.

I’ve known them both by heart forever. Someone actually asked me to say the 23rd Psalm in Starbucks and I did. I think I mentioned this on FR once before, how one whole side of the Starbucks was listening. Broadway and 103rd Street.

I don’t know why you think I had them confused.

It's simple; for I was the one confused!

Here in GA both Trump and non-Trump Republicans voted for the candidate of the teachers unions for State School Superintendant.

I don't know if this is the case in this particular race , but conservatives tend to greatly overvalue "experience". As Ross Perot put it when the question came up during a Presidential debate: "I don't have any experience running up a 4 trillion dollar debt."

“For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.”

Pretty sure Catholics end with a very similar version of that...

Not when I was a kid and for a long time after that. It’s always possible things have changed.

The whole auditorium fell silent except for the leader and one or two kids when that part came along, since it was a Catholic neighborhood.

Doesn’t really matter. We all believe the same prayer.
