Meanwhile, let’s see what the ruling class’s manicured lawns look like.
Do they practice what they preach...?
Bunch of hogwash.
Who wants property value? They’ll just tax you more.
I want my lawn mowed weekly in the growing season and I’ll do it if I have to use a pair of scissors all darn week.
My neighbor can let their grass grow as tall as they like, if it bothers me, I cut it.
If my grass needs cutting, I’m doing it— the end.
Where we went wrong is diminishing Common Law and the embracing overlay of Contract Law (also known as Admiralty Law, Law of the Sea).
Common Law - very limited to harm to another being as being unlawful. Unlawful things like murder, rape, theft.
Contract Law - legal tentacles to whatever may violate a contract we agreed to - HOA, having mere color of ownership of our land, homes, automobiles. Illegal things like speeding, going thru a stop sign, using lawnmowers, leafblowers.
You likely live on a postage stamp in suburbia. For those of us with acreage, electric is a joke.
I have a neighbor who will have the city put up the mow me signs at the drop of a hat. She did that to another neighbor who's husband was out of town, and she was pregnant and unable to mow for several weeks.
I’ll mow twice or more.
been doing this for years
everyone else is finally catching up
I have 2 acres of homestead use as well as another 15 acres that requires fence line maintenance as well as 330 feet of front drainage ditch along the road. Ain’t no way in hell that I would attempt to trust any battery powered mower to handle that.
So you get a sign to put on your front lawn letting your neighbors know where you stand and who is the squealer
Somebody should tell them a couple of sheep or goats will do nicely on chains.
Dig it about 3 feet wide by 6 feet to give them something to talk about.
I did not mow thru Oct. to March....
I have a battery powered Weed Wacker...I like it. Everything else I have is by hand or gas powered.
That picture looks like the difference between my yard and my lazy Messican neighbor’s yard. He bought a new JD riding mower 3 years ago and can only manage to mow once every month or so.
Pathetic
Plus the eat the emergent weeds before they go to seed and you won’t have any weeds the following year.
Then you can golf on it when their done.
My neighbor is doing this. He did April too.
It’s 25 houses in the entire city.. Pointless.
And one month of not mowing really isn’t gonna get that overgrown. Especially in May when the grass is barely even starting to grow in much. I’m moving every two weeks, at most!
