Most polls are lies.

Tucker spoke about that today. He seems to disagree as well.

Couldn’t sleep. Ran across Danny’s post wondering, while version of the Russian plant category I fall into?

Who me? Just a husband and father of 3, 2 grandchildren and an ailing father in a nursing who like me, would like me, might like to see my football team with the big game before we go. More important, hoping to dance with my youngest daughter on her wedding night next May. Just some background to help all those blue & yellow flag waving war hawks the proper context to place me in the correct Russian plant category. With that said...

... If the Russians happen to pulverize Ukraine into nothing - enough for NATO countries with common sense to get the hint, I won’t loose any sleep over it. Not because I’m a Putin lover, hate the Ukrainians, a Russian hockey fan, or on their payroll. It’s because there’s a good chance I’ll be able to do the things I mentioned in the above paragraph. You see, THAT’S what is most important in my life.

But as a Real American, here are my other concerns I place ahead of Ukraine can affect my family’s future. Unfortunately, I don’t have to look overseas and the Russians don’t need to pay any of us to see the obvious: The country - This American Empire - is falling apart from within, and I fear that in the long run, not only have we over-extended ourselves in various ways all over the globe, but there is a growing consensus among many others nations, that we - not the Russians of Chinese - are becoming the major nemesis on the planet; leading to the only question of how to eventually do away with this ‘problem’.

We cannot or will not protect our own border. The head of the Border Patrol admitted before Congress that we have no operational control of our own border. So along with who-knows-who crossing illegal (many males of military age - a.k.a invaders), other chemicals are coming across that our killing hundreds of thousands of Americans. Of course, there are other chemicals (read: boosters) that are probably killing many more. I won’t go there. But I will say that the Russians and Chinese didn’t destroy our border security, and I’m not so dumb as to assume they aren’t exploiting it.

Of course, none of this is our fault. We’re the good guys, right? Everyone loves us and wants to come and be part of the great ‘democracy’. No reason some Russian or Chinese folks would want to exploit such a security loophole, huh?

As much as I resist, I check online every few moments to make sure my bank account is still there; wondering what to do if it suddenly vanishes if/when that 90-year experiment of creating money out of thin air comes to and end. Did you know that American already has some of the most violent cities in the world? Tribalism is running rampant. And while black urban thugs with no proper upbringing terrorize the cities, stupid white people think they can make it all go away by making them millionaires.

Spoiler alert: We’re broke; have been for sometime. The empire’s credit card is maxxed out, kinda like the full faith and credit the people have for this government. Good luck trying to bankroll a war with that. Check some foreign news outlets on how more and more nations are ditching the dollar, and how many of our enemies are becoming friends - with our former friends.

Our children our being taught to believe a persons gender depends on psychology instead of biology, and the government endorses and promotes this deviance. The blood sacrament of the ruling class is pre-natal genocide, while the invaders don’t practice birth control. Masculinity is toxic, and feminism is becoming a man’s world. The logic demographic timeline dictates Caucasians will be the minority by 2050 or sooner due to our self-imposed Great Replacement Theory.

And I must say, as a black man, I kinda like white people. Got a few in my family. As a nation, its sad
and frustrating to see folks just stand by and watch it all happen. So, you think you can take on two nuclear powers on the other side of the world? From the where I sit, we can’t even take on Antifa, BLM, or pedophile drag queens (Kyle Rittenhouse not withstanding).

So Allow me to ask a direct question: To whom are we going to sell government bonds to pay for bank bailouts, wars with Russia, China, the climate (read: planet earth), and the governments’ most hated adversary - the American People themselves?

Now, for those who’s finally figured out which category this Russian plant fits into, here’s the bad news: Of everything I’ve written above, Putin, Xi, Russia or China didn’t do any of this to us. WE’VE DONE THIS TO OURSELEVES.

Millions of American’s pensions are a risk, while this government pledges to bankroll pensions in a foreign country, and this is somehow a GOOD thing? Really? Levy sanctions and wage war against a country that makes most of our durable goods? Honestly?

You see, this is what drives me up the wall with folks rooting for someone across across the street, throwing every penny at him to fight his neighbors, while our own house is on fire and the kids are hungry. This is arrogance. This is denial; knowing their is a government in power whose ascension is questionable at best, and some of us now think that same government is suddenly on the ‘right side of history’.

Okay, I’ve said enough, and may get a couple hours before having to work these two jobs to make ends meet (neither of which are compensated by Putin). I will conclude with my hope that we all start looking inward, as the war will having been waging is and will not be with foreign powers, but with ourselves. We cannot ‘defend democracy’ if we don’t practice it. We cannot claim the ‘moral high ground’ if we have no morals ourselves. And we cannot have a ‘rules based liberal order’ if we don’t follow our own rules - both here and abroad.

I think I’ve written enough to perhaps get a little sleep. Perhaps a little Bible reading will help me. Maybe I’ll finally figure out why America is mentioned directly in the Book of Revelations, or the identity of that Babylonian Whore.

just my $0.02 (which is becoming a worth a lot less these days)

jimjohn (an Real American plant) - OUT.

What vital national interest do we have in Ukraine?

None at all. Nothing. Ukraine is not a NATO ally. We don’t get any vital resource from Ukraine. Its a country half a world away. All Ukraine represents is an opportunity for the Neocons to start trouble with Russia....and for the Neocons and their donors to then grift from it.

Complete opposite to the poll I conducted on FR last year. Over 90% who participated stated they did not want us involved in this civil war

so you're saying 90% of Freepers are out of touch with America?

Well said.

If having a free mind and being aware of the BS nonsense means I’m a Putin puffer than so be it.

Ukraine means nothing to me aside from the sympathy I feel for people’s lives destroyed and violence that was foisted upon them through no fault of their own. As to their spirit - also don’t care. Everyone has spirit and the will to survive.

As to the poll...sure whatever. I’m not a republican anyway.

Our involvement in Ukraine is insane and par for the course of our decline.

"WE’VE DONE THIS TO OURSELEVES."

And that's the point. Helping Ukraine is not mutually exclusive with addressing any of those other issues. We could address all of those festering problems if we had the will to.

Not helping Ukraine won't fix our border, or clear up our gender confusion, get rid of Covid-19, or make the vaccines safe or go away, or anything else. Ukraine would just be another festering problem left unattended. And it will be a bigger more expensive problem the longer we left it unattended.

I'm sure America wasn't problem free when we entered WW1, or WW2. But we did it. And this isn't a world war nor have we actually entered it, as our blood isn't being spilt.

As of Jan 22, we've spent $76 billion on Ukraine. The US GNP is $23 trillion. So we've spent about 3% of our GNP for 1 year.

I never said everyone opposing helping Ukraine defend itself was a Russian plant. I laid out 3 of the main arguments I see used. And I said Russian plants would use those arguments as well.

You fall into the isolationist camp. A camp I consider too self absorbed to care about anyone else. And a camp that naively thinks this war won't get worse if Russia isn't defeated now.

And the reason that Russia couldn't easily walk over Ukraine is that Trump sent Ukraine missiles while he was still in office.

In my lifetime Democrats have been the war mongers.

Conservative thought believes in peace through superior firepower.

And some of us just DGAF.

You’d think the last three years would have taught any rational American how idiotic it is to be pissing money away all over the globe while our own entire social order is falling apart in front of our eyes.

68% of all statistics are simply made up. I never believe polls. Used to, but it’s been a long time since I believed anything they say.

You really miss the point. FAILING to address all those other problems completely destroys the credibility of anyone who pushes this globalist empire-building nonsense.

Otherwise, we end up like some nitwit who quits smoking and drinking to improve his health — while he weighs 400 pounds and lives on a diet of Big Macs and fentanyl.

You’re arguing that someone who weights 400 pounds shouldn’t give up smoking and drinking????

And a camp that naively thinks this war won't get worse if Russia isn't defeated now.

The problem is that we’ve heard this idiotic propaganda before.

It just isn’t officially a noble military campaign for the U.S. until that retard Sean Hannity has Lindsey Graham on his show to agonize about how some fifth-rate dope like Saddam Hussein or a goat herder in Afghanistan is going to become the leader of the Fourth Reich unless the U.S. spends several hundred billion dollars on a stupid military campaign to stop him now.

I’m pointing out that he’s wasting his time if he’s living on a diet of fentanyl. In fact, he’s a moron. Maybe he should drive his car 150 miles per hour in heavy traffic on an icy road. Would you consider him a prudent man just because he’s wearing a seatbelt?

Step away from the politics and just think rationally.
