If everybody is forced to work 4 days, what will congress do? They only work a day or two a week.
Maybe I’m misremembering, but wasn’t a forced work week reduction a part of one of the plans in Atlas Shrugged?
The pushback should be a bill for a 6-day, 48-hour work week. Then they can split the difference and settle on 40 hours over 5 days.
Not even Europeans are this lazy. Last time I looked, the French are at 35 hour weeks.
yep, the work has to be done, this would simply result in raising the cost of hiring employees by 20%, that extra cost will get pasted on to the consumer and result is MASSIVE inflation.

That was also my first thought as well.
As soon as you see this word being used you know you are dealing with a hopeless woketard.
This is fine. But where are they gonna find 20% more employees to serve tables, answer phones, come fix your plumbing, or finish the addition on your house.
4 day weeks work for government where no one really expects much to get done. In the real world staffing 24x7 becomes even harder when you constrain your workforce.
