If everybody is forced to work 4 days, what will congress do? They only work a day or two a week.

Maybe I’m misremembering, but wasn’t a forced work week reduction a part of one of the plans in Atlas Shrugged?

The pushback should be a bill for a 6-day, 48-hour work week. Then they can split the difference and settle on 40 hours over 5 days.

Not even Europeans are this lazy. Last time I looked, the French are at 35 hour weeks.

yep, the work has to be done, this would simply result in raising the cost of hiring employees by 20%, that extra cost will get pasted on to the consumer and result is MASSIVE inflation.

Dumb as ALL socialist ideas like this are!

> Highly inflationary. <

It would also:

A. Make domestic goods less competitive against imported goods.
B. Give companies just another reason to locate their factories overseas.

This means our Global Free Traders (Traitors) won’t fight too hard against the idea.

It is not the business of government to make this determination.

Next, do Daylight Savings Time, another old system that could stand a little recalibration.

The results showed 39% of employees were less stressed

So, were 61% more stressed?

62% said it was easier to balance work with their social lives

Shocker! Wow, I have more time to hang out with my friends.

and 55% reported an increase in their productivity at work.

I call BS on that one. Self reported productivity?

Democratic: Might know a slacker hustler would come up with such an idea.

Better idea: make bankers work a minimum of 4 hours a day.

It is not the business of government to make this determination.

Yes, but it is the business of a fascist government to make this determination.

This is fine. But where are they gonna find 20% more employees to serve tables, answer phones, come fix your plumbing, or finish the addition on your house.

4 day weeks work for government where no one really expects much to get done. In the real world staffing 24x7 becomes even harder when you constrain your workforce.
