A few years ago (pre-pandemic), I ate at a Burger King in NYC. It was utter bedlam. Only the presence of two burly security guards (probably off duty cops) allowed that restaurant to function. I was planning to eat there, but hastily decided to take a to-go order back to my hotel.
When times are good societies tend to tolerate a lot.
When times are bad societies tend to be less tolerant.
America has had good time since the end of WWII but the decline began (in my opinion) starting in 2000 when liberals began getting control over everything.
A lot has changed in our society and not just because the people wanted the change, but the changes were forced on them. The people tolerated the changes even if they did not like them.
Now times are getting bad on many fronts and the tolerance level for the majority is getting lower.
That there is a back lash coming is in no doubt. Only the when and how severe the back lash will be.

Each store is a stand alone franchise.
Its not going to work. There have been a string of nice, new restaurants and convenience stores that have shut down in Philadelphia over the past two years. Some try to blame it on COVID. That may have something to do with it, but the main reason is out of control behavior. One prominent area convenience store (Wawa) was built right before COVID and was in the business district. It did really well for a white. But then it was trashed in riots three times and constantly had a problem with kids causing fights and stealing things. The private security didn’t do anything and cops rarely showed up. There were times when homeless people were in the store screaming and yelling. The clerks didn’t know what to do. Decent people should not have to put up with these feral animals roaming the streets.

Yep. Same thing happened to Herrnstein and Murray when they came out and published “The Bell Curve” way back when. Those guys were to meet their demise as the first victims of the lib’s “cancel culture” operation. The libs went totally berserk over it; almost to the point of outright violence. They still CANNOT stand the Truth even when it outright slaps in the face....kinda reminds one of like their big daddy, Satan. They come to steal, kill and destroy...and they’re good at it.

I was in a historic neighborhood of Oakland, California.
The language often used was the worst I ever heard.

Welfare needs to be reformed so as to not undermine family life. Two parents working together are more able to produce better behaved children.

I should add that the language in my highly-ranked suburban New York high school in the early 1970s was often foul. It had only two well-behaved black students (which I did not get to know).
A woman I used to work with had five kids. She had never been married. She had four different baby daddies. When she was pregnant again and was complaining about being pregnant, I asked her why she didn’t use birth control. She said her religion didn’t believe in it.
I finally kept my mouth shut but I really wanted to ask what kind of religion thought it was OK for a single woman to have babies that all had different fathers but didn’t allow birth control.
I did ask once why so many black women had so many babies with different men and she admitted that the plan was to have as many babies as possible, no matter how they had to do it, so that they would eventually outnumber whites and take over. This was in the 80’s.
They are all aligned with evil Christian ideology.
