The police officers I know would be the first to tell you that they can’t be everywhere, and people need to be their own first responders by arming themselves in public.

The blue are in the crime fighting business so that means more business for police, prisons and prosecutors. If you want more police, more police spending then back gun control.
I do think a lot of people that back the blue are into big government and want more business. Sort of like defense contractors that push for wars or vaccine makers that push for vaccines and plandemics. .
