The UN should deem Pakistan as part of India

India will NOT want another 240 million Muslims.

If anything, India would prefer "encouraging" its Muslim population to emigrate to Pakistan.

Their annual system load factor must be terrible if they have to actually take units off line during low load situations. Normally a system with a reasonable load factor could bring units down to minimum loading and keep them synchronized to the grid. If you had to take a unit off line it’s a fairy easy task to put the T/G on turning gear and keep the boiler warm. Could have it back on line in a couple of hours.

Replace them with the incompetent and the water turns brown and the lights go out. Witness Pakistan.

You forgot to include Flint as your brown water witness.

“was left without electricity”

“was” should be “were”.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Wrong.

The noun that the word “was” is linked to is the “majority”.

The “majority...was” is correct as is.

“I am not picking on a simple poster. And I make plenty of mistakes myself. But when the opening sentence of a news organization article starts with a glaring error in the first sentence, that stops a reader in their tracks then we have a problem. Not only did the author make a glaring mistake, but it got by their editors as well. Now if you had made that mistake then I would have just moved on without comment. I am no English major, and I make a ton of mistakes. But I think that I learned this lesson prior to being school age.”

You are compounding your first mistake.

The blackout, which persisted in much of the country at press time on Tuesday, poses a new challenge for establishment Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif,

Sharif don't like it,
Rock the blackout,
Rock the blackout

I see this every day in facilities management. It is a very thin veneer. System relies on 2% of the workforce. Everyone else is disposable.

You’re describing American society in every detail. Those on the street and unemployed should be running the companies. Unemployment is often a result of office politics and diversity.

Subject-verb agreement is a little tricky when the subject is a singular collective noun (e.g. 'majority') followed by a plural prepositional phrase,(e.g. 'of the people') as is the case here. Strictly speaking, the verb should be singular (.e.g. 'was') but there is an exception to the rule that allows the plural when it sounds more natural, as in
'A pair of birds float overhead in the sky.'
instead of the more correct
'A pair of birds floats overhead in the sky.'
which may sound stilted, as was the case in our example, at least to Revel's hearing. Not being a computer one hears 'birds float overhead' as preferable to 'birds floats overhead'. I would refrain from criticizing either form.

It’s much simpler than that — the Left wants America to die.
