So far, no hackers have managed to access the piece of paper on which my passwords are scribbled.

Life lock used to be good. It stinks now, and I will not renew my membership.

The penalty for hacking needs to be hanging. Our governments do NOTHING.

I wonder if it’s the government doing the hacking?

How ironic.

Though...people don’t provide them information for safe storage - it is a monitoring service for if someone uses information that was breached they will catch it and stop them in their tracks.

Now that will put this system to the test.

If folks want security and privacy they need to stick to dogs and cats!

This isn't a company for which you would give them information for safe storage - they monitor to stop people who use information that is stolen to open fake accounts, etc. in their name. Although, your personal account information would be provided to them in order for them to know and be connected to the same in order to monitor it. So now, this system will be put to the test if the information is out there to be used as a result of this breach.

Yet another reason not to get Norton.
I use to have to guide someone in uninstalling it when I worked at Earthlink ISP back in the dialup days. They had a deal with them and we in tech support found out what a pain it was to uninstall.
You first needed to get Norton’s own uninstaller from their website.

ESPN seemed to have it on a loop when I was sitting at the bar in a restaurant Saturday night. I even commented to my wife about it while sitting there…

My wife belongs to AARP (I tried to talk her out of it... :-) ) and the the AARP snail mail piece that arrived today featured an ad for Norton Life Lock.

AARP is a crack whore!

I learned years ago to never use any software or service with “Norton” in the name.
