I don’t have any goons. We opted to homeschool until HS and then they had a choice. By then they had a solid foundation to stand on.
The U.S is no longer a Christian Nation, as it once was. Your choices today are that all religions are taught or none or you homeschool. It’s not the schools job to educate on religion. It’s about reading, writing and arithmetic. I don’t want anyone I don’t know teaching my children their own interpretation of Christianity or Islam, or any other. Who decides which Christian denomination, which moral values et al are taught? Even here on FR folks can’t agree. It’s the job of the parents and parents only to teach their children. It’s none of the schools, teachers or other busy-body parents to decide how I raise my kids. You want to force others to live by your rules and tenants. That’s not freedom, that tyranny. Focus on being a better Christian and raising your own. That’s what God will judge on anyways, is it not?

Religious instruction is the responsibility of the parents and family. Not public education institutions.
