Property prices in Texas sky rocketed for about the past year in Texas. Even in the small rural towns. But since the mortgage interest rates went soo high, it has slipped back some.
The huge influx into Texas is understandable. The rest of the world seems totally insane. (so is the illegal alien problem)
The FL market has always been different from Texas. (but similar) Lots of snow birds from the NE.
I lived in NM for many years in Silver City. I traveled in SE AZ for a part of that time too. Was in the wholesale distribution business.
I liked the people in AZ. Not that different (away from the cities) from Texas back then.
It is just about damn time for Mayors, County Supervisors and Governors to realize that taxpayer or grant monies are to be spent for the benefit of the legal, contributing residents of their jurisdtions only: the city, county or state. If they try to use it elsewise, RECALL.
Prop 308 passed. Another millstone around our necks.
