Note that "IRS audit" and "we get to see them" are two different things. AFAICT this bill relates only to mandated audits. A mere audit of a return wouldn't make it public.

I think I was wrong. Under this bill, the President's tax returns would be audited AND disclosed.

Exactly. They’re unconstitutionally creating a new requirement to be President. Sorry, but it’s at least 35 years of age and a natural born citizen, period. Passing some contrived tax payment test is not in the Constitution, and they have no power to add it.
