I haven’t yet heard a replacement plan from the “get rid of the RINOs” people.
When the RINOs are all gone, how will the remnant ever win another election?
You have to wake up and realize that the replacements are all currently registered Democrats, and think through what it will take to turn them into MAGA voters.
Trump had the magic formula in 2016.

But in MD that’s the best we get and at least he was sane. Dark days are probably ahead.

Maybe he should have actually shown the voters the difference in the parties. Instead of blending in with the Democrats and making it indistinguishable.

Lived there for 28 years and it’s a tax and liberal hell hole. Fortunately I was in St Mary’s county back then but that’s turned into drug infested DC suburb as well.

Yup—Baltimore is the same hazardous wasteland today as it was the day he became governor.
All he has to offer is excuses for his failure.

. . . where the return of complete Democratic control of state government ushers in fears that runaway spending will eat up the $2.5 billion budget surplus and $3 billion rainy day fund that Mr. Hogan leaves behind.IOW, a "solution" which RINOs always seem to find preferable to actual proven conservative solutions. Why do you suppose that is?

It’s curious that seven out the ten richest counties in the US are suburbs of DC. I simply can’t understand it.

Maybe he should have actually shown the voters the difference in the parties. Instead of blending in with the Democrats and making it indistinguishable.Hogan did not run for re-election because of term limits. The Republican candidate was Dan Cox, a conservative Trump supporter who was endorsed by DJT. Cox is definitely not a member of the uni-party, and he lost the election because of his conservative credentials.

Hogan did not run for re-election because of term limits. The Republican candidate was Dan Cox, a conservative Trump supporter who was endorsed by DJT. Cox is definitely not a member of the uni-party, and he lost the election because of his conservative credentials. And in a huff of pettiness, Hogan did not endorse him.
I would say that Hogan did the best he could with a state house dominated by Dems. But any aspirations he has for national office are a pipe dream. He's too milque toast. Maybe The Senate. Maybe.

So even the Washington Times, a conservative paper, is now capitalizing "black."Grammatically its a close call because proper adjectives (adjectives that describe a proper noun) are generally capitalized.
