I have yet to hear a politician or anyone in the media define what an assault weapon is.
Doubt this is first time this has been filed in PA, so where’s the story? Let me know if they actually pass it, rather than just file the same bill they’ve done every two years for God knows how long now.
Pa. is at it again; banning guns yet electing Fettermen.
What is their definition of an "assault rifle"?
Could the definition be expanded to include any semi-automatic firearm?
The US Constitution will soon have a warning:
R - Not for anyone under age 21.
It could, but those idiots think they are anything that looks “military”...
What I’d like to know is why the RATS never made banks and convenience stores “gun free zones.” That would have kept a lot of the far-left’s criminals out of prison.
Meanwhile, in Brazil:
“COMENDADOR LEVY GASPARIAN, Brazil (Reuters) - When four federal police officers came to arrest Roberto Jefferson, a close ally of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, the veteran politician made clear he was going nowhere.
“Run,” he told them. “You’re going to get hurt.”
The former federal lawmaker then threw three adulterated stun grenades at the police and sprayed their armored car with over 50 shots from his Smith & Wesson 5.56 mm assault-style rifle.”

Illinois Lawmaker’s Gun Control Package for Law-Abiding Citizens on the Books Next Week
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2022
HB 5855 -
Illinois lawmakers have scheduled hearings for their gun control package bill, falsely titled the “Protect Illinois Communities Act.” House Bill 5855 bans many commonly used firearms Americans choose to defend themselves and their families with. Proponents of the bill, however, fail to explain how disarming law-abiding citizens will keep them safe from criminals who do not obey the law. There will be opportunity for public input at the third hearing. The date of the third hearing has yet to be announced.
HB 5855 -
- Bans the sale and possession of semi-automatic, centerfire, magazine-fed rifles. This includes all AR/AK pattern rifles and pistols. HB 5855, also, includes a provision for the registration of existing rifles.
- Bans magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.
- Bans 18 - 20 years old from obtaining a state Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) card.
- Bans .50 BMG rifles and ammunition.
- Expands the State’s firearm restraining order by increasing it from 6 to 12 months.
- Severely restricts hunting for anyone under 21.
Yah, your probably right. But Jack O’Conner called the Model 70 “The Rifleman’s Rifle”!
You are correct. The same people file the same BS anti gun bills and they get about 20 sponsors....
“Gun bans” and “Democratic representatives”.
Strange how these two things always show up together ever since Democrat Thomas J. Dodd and Emanuel Celler first called for gun registration back in 1962.
Add below it, this sign...
“AND THIS TIME WE REALLY MEAN IT!”
Good enough for Miss America 1962 to shoot, and good enough for John Kennedy to shoot, it is good enough for us today.
The World’s Assault Rifles, Musgrave and Nelson, 1967, you find the following paragraph on pages 442-443: JFK shooting an AR-15.
That Mr. Kennedy was strongly impressed by the AR-15 is evidenced by the fact that he obtained two of them for his own use and frequently took them out in his boat. Like many ordinary citizens, he enjoyed plinking at bobbing tin cans and other flotsam. The President appreciated fine firearms and knew how to care for them. He had special storage cases made for the Ar-15s to protect them from salt spray.
It will be stopped by the Supreme Court if not sooner.
Justice Kavanaugh, when a federal judge, wrote a great dissent against an assault weapons ban. We need more people like him on the Court.
What is a multi-burst trigger activator?
Will go nowhere.
Mastriano and his wacko followers pulled down the whole GOP ticket.
Democrats out register Republicans by 500,000 (dead or alive). With the introduction of no-excuse mail-in ballots, Republicans will never again win an important statewide PA race (Governorship, Lt Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State and Senate seats).
The problem was not the GOP candidate, the problem is that prior to mail-in ballots, unmotivated democrats would not bother to go to the precinct and cast a vote. Now, the rats can easily harvest those ballots and add them to the count in the general election.
For example: On election day, Fetterman led Oz 948000 to 222000 (mail-in votes). Oz could never make up that much of a deficit. No one could.
