Will Californians ever pull their head out of their third point of contact?

"Can red states overcome their hatred of California and embrace electric cars?"

I LOVE Kommiefornia.

It's the ANAL SPHINCTERS who live there that I can't stand.

How well are the double the price of gas cars very expensive electric cars doing in the winter storms where you are stuck in traffic waiting on diesel powered snow plows to clear a path and you are freezing as you can not turn on the heat for long or you run out of “green energy”?

Assuming the electric car starts at all.

From an Upstate NY enemefia outlet...

https://www.weny.com/story/47920313/new-ev-charging-stations-coming-to-areas-of-new-york-including-bath

“...The governor’s office says that the new chargers can charge most of the battery capacity in any make or model of E-V in as little as 20 minutes.:

And these, supposedly, will be high speed charging sites.

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Indiana can feel like a tough place to own an electric car.

Try Branson!

The EV and Solar/Wind Turbine Movements are a gross fleecing of taxpayers' pockets to make well connected DEM's friends very rich. These markets will collapse on themselves leaving Electrical Utility Customers to pay far higher rates for electricity. They will cause taxpayers as well to bail out the collapsed automakers, Solar Panel corps, and wind turbines when they finally realize that these forms of power generation cannot now nor ever meet our nation's energy demand. As well we will have to bail out our Power grid because Idiot Lawyers in DC are shutting reliable down.

People are not aware of what it takes to keep commercial buildings and health care facilities operational. Not to mention a server farm. It takes vast amounts of electricity to power their cooling systems. So, who will have their needs met first the essential infrastructure or Yuppie Green Earth's EV?

My region which is powered by TVA is fixing to shut down all coal fired steam plants. Replacing many with Solar Panel Farms. If they covered every surface sq ft of where the coal fire d stem plant stood it will generate less than 20% off the power a coal fired steam plant does.

What really irks me is in the past few decades TVA pour billions and billions to do mandated environmental upgrades of which yes some was needed, to turn right around and to appease the Green Earthers even more shut those upgraded plants down. Is a new nuclear power steam generation plant being built anywhere in the USA at this moment? I doubt more than a hand full.

The most efficient and reliable power generation plants Nuclear, Coal Fired, Gas Turbine, and last is Hydro-Electric. These can provide on demand power. Have you noticed that the under development mini reactors self-contained units are no longer being mentioned? I can think of 100 pitfalls of EV and the entire no carbon footprint lie. The EPA in it's arrogance in the past two decades has crippled what was once the most reliable engine which is the diesel engine. Thery have added senseless emissions crap and an electrical nightmare to them same as they did gasoline powered cars.
