Cameras are everywhere on God’s green earth now. WHY aren’t they in every single room in every school?

The little rural school I used to teach at/still sub act now has cameras pretty much everywhere except the classrooms. But even if cameras were in the classroom, you as a parent, wouldn’t be able to access them. While you certainly have the right to look at your kid, you don’t have the right to look at anyone else’s kid. Might be a dumb law, but that’s the way it is.

And for what it’s worth, I don’t think a school counselor has the right or power to tell teachers they have to do anything. If a principal sent such an email, there’d be ways that the email would become public. School personnel don’t have the right to withhold any information from parents about the parents’ children.

Mike Pence reserves his outrage for things that he can profit in some way from-like a manufactured coup de etat, made-up conversations with people he never saw, etc-there is no money or profitable face-time for him personally in objecting to parental authority being undermined to make money off a kids’ emotional confusion-so he will just ignore the problem and let others profit instead-he’s a total jerk...

All should be on alert for new legislation and ballot proposals like the Proposal 3 in Michigan——passed, of course.

Mainly a wide open protection of all abortions at all months and to all females (example: no need to notify a parent their younger than 17 year old daughter is getting an abortion). Can’t interfere with the cash supported trip to see an abortionist, or look into the qualifications of the “health professional” who need not be a doctor, or the hygienic condition of the place.

But the new Michigan Constitutionally protected secrecy for gender change also now means a person could be prosecuted for telling the parents about the hormones being injected in the child at school or about sending to a surgeon for sex change procedures.

So the rights of the parents are being trashed in MI, CA and other states by law. Watch for your state’s status to change, too.

Schools shouldn’t withhold anything from parents. They have a right to know what’s going on in their children’s schools.
