But who is going to rip it out?

They--the Deep State--own everyone except for Trump and Musk.

They thought they ended Trump with January 6. And we know they are feverishly figuring out how to get rid of Musk.

It actually looks like Trump and Musk might be beginning to see that they are allies by default. And that must scare the hell out of the Deep State.

Funny how things work.

So why wasn’t this guy fired, like last week, when it became known that he was directly involved in the whole sordid mess, and before getting the chance to sabotage Taibbi’s data dump?

They also don’t own their supporters and followers, which is what really scares them. There are people who can’t be gas-lighted, just because they choose not to be. And a great many of those are “Ultra-MAGA Trump supporters,” and they’re taking a shine to Musk as well.

This feels like justice.

Man, has THAT been in short supply.

Thank you, Elon Musk!

He was busy greenligting masking, travel restrictions, mail in ballots, bumpstock bans and a big pharma vaccine.

Well, I’ve always got hope that they’ll piss Putin off so much that he’ll send a big one that way.

Maybe he’ll do us out in the hinterlands a solid.

Too bad when he was “exited” it was not through the 20th floor window.

Lot of people here seem to forget Mitch had gatekeeper powers over appointments required by Senate approval.

Most of Trump’s interim picks were excellent because he could choose them.

If I understand it correctly Baker pulled information going to the reporter designated by Musk. In particular anything regarding FBI.

"In many ways the Musk takeover of Twitter has exceeded my expectations. It’s like having a good dream, but waking up and it actually is happening."

Agreed. It's also a shot over the bow of Facebook. "I could absolutely take your company, Mark."

In fact if Elon had both, he would have incredible economies of scale on ad revenue, eyes-on-ads, and remarkably, one of the largest granular personal data troves in the world. From there, we could punch back hard.

One of the great equalizers about to happen is that that someone is going to assemble a Wikileaks of personal data leaked from all social media, exponentially greater than 2016's email cache.

IMs, DMs, posts, searches, purchases, likes -- it is inevitable.

>>>The bottom line is, YOU are the fool in this picture.>>>>

Don’t be the idiot you are. Trump kept and even hired or and or appointed so many who did nothig but betray him. Even people who were once his personal hires betrayed him. But you Trump cultists are no different then Charlie Manson followers. Blind fools.

THREAD: Twitter Files Supplemental

On Friday, the first installment of the Twitter files was published here. We expected to publish more over the weekend. Many wondered why there was a delay.

We can now tell you part of the reason why. On Tuesday, Twitter Deputy General Counsel (and former FBI General Counsel) Jim Baker was fired. Among the reasons? Vetting the first batch of “Twitter Files” – without knowledge of new management.

The process for producing the “Twitter Files” involved delivery to two journalists (Bari Weiss and me) via a lawyer close to new management. However, after the initial batch, things became complicated.

Over the weekend, while we both dealt with obstacles to new searches, it was @bariweiss who discovered that the person in charge of releasing the files was someone named Jim. When she called to ask “Jim’s” last name, the answer came back: “Jim Baker.”

“My jaw hit the floor,” says Weiss.

The first batch of files both reporters received was marked, “Spectra Baker Emails.”

Baker is a controversial figure. He has been something of a Zelig of FBI controversies dating back to 2016, from the Steele Dossier to the Alfa-Server mess. He resigned in 2018 after an investigation into leaks to the press.

The news that Baker was reviewing the “Twitter files” surprised everyone involved, to say the least. New Twitter chief Elon Musk acted quickly to “exit” Baker Tuesday.
Reporters resumed searches through Twitter Files material – a lot of it – today. The next installment of “The Twitter Files” will appear . Stay tuned.

“Baker was likely damaged goods from Spygate. As an FBI general council he should have been able to get an Ivory Tower DC law firm job after leaving the FBI. He settled for less at Twitter and had to be forced out after the Musk take over..”

General counsel at twitter was a VERY powerful position.
