The cartoon reminds me of Barry Goldwater’s remark that the country would be better off if we sawed off the Eastern Seaboard. Sixty years later, you could add the West, or Left, Coast.

Why the hell does “throwing shade” mean? Is this some new urban ghetto pop culture lingo?
In 2007 Biden condescendingly said of Obama—

“Throw shade”is youngster slang.
It is the kind of thing that woke non-boomers say to each other when insulting someone or something. These blokes will be sitting around discussing their Beard Grooming, skinny suit pants and mid-century furniture finds, and I suppose pronouns, or whatever, and then “throw shade” on each other’s attempts at millennial diction with inadequate lilting up at the end of every phrase, like asking a question, like?
Anyway that’s the way it looks to me. I am just grateful that I am old.
It’s not for sale, so I’m just going to steal it.

They called him Uncle Joe to his face he never knew why he thought it was a compliment.

I believe that FJB was chosen to become President because he was the only one demented enough for the DNC to control and implement the Obama/WEF’s plans on an accelerated timetable right in our faces

They had to get him elected first though, or in this case hide the theft of the election as much as they possibly could and make it more believable that he won the election fair & square. The moderate faction of the GOPe provided their assistance, and did so again in the midterm elections.
