Betting there were weapons turned in that should be in a museum.

Suggestion was made

The French are making this too easy: no one is better at dropping weapons then the French.

Didn’t they give most of them to the Germans in 1940?

The French have been maligned for a very long time.
how long have the yellow vests been calling for freedom vs
how long US “Freedom Fries” have been decrying the anti freedom creeps
I knew a guy who had a ww1 museum. no one cared except for the french.

At least Navy Arms got hold of a bunch of Lee-Enfield rifles in France recently, No. 4 Mk 1, I believe. I covet one, but I don’t really want another caliber to deal with.

In the next war the French government will put out a call for Genoese crossbowmen as they did in the Middle Ages as they cannot trust their own people with real weapons.

And to think, in the movie “IS PARIS BURNING?” there is an old man shooting at the Germans with an old Vetterli rifle.
I bet his grand kids turned that rifle in to the police.

7.5x54mm, although Century Arms does some...”work”...and converts them to .308 Winchester after importation. I’d love an old French MAS 36, but not if it was converted. Same with an old Lebel, or a Berthier.

Remember, they will send proxies to do it for them.
Local police. Local sheriffs. Local swat teams if they think you will be not welcoming.
People need to think about who needs to really be reached out and touched, first.
